SV	Naar Zijn wil heeft Hij ons gebaard door het Woord der waarheid, opdat wij zouden zijn [als] eerstelingen Zijner schepselen.

ASV	Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
